Climate, site & wine
Loess and sandy loam are free-draining and warm up quickly. The wines are fresh and fruit-driven, medium-bodied with moderate alcohol.
Fetească Albă, Fetească Regală and Aligoté produce dry whites, while Băbească Neagră gives light, cherry-fruited reds with lively acidity. The style is straightforward and easy-drinking, aimed at everyday enjoyment in southern Moldavia, and relies on simple, fruit-led winemaking.
